Announcement for Lutheran Carnival IL

Lutheran Carnival IL will be hosted at Random Intolerance. Yes, I get to host the Cinco de Mayo carnival (sort of). Anyway, get your posts in by 11:59 Friday night (read midnight Saturday morning or 0500 Saturday UTC). I extended the deadline slightly because, the truth be told, I may not get to the carnival until Sunday morning. I'll explain it all in the carnival. If I can manage.

Call for Hosts

We've almost made it to 50 carnivals. Considering how many carnivals never make it past their 5th edition, we're doing really well. Now we're looking for hosts for carnivals 51-60. It is now first-come, first-served when it comes to hosting. You can either email me (daniel DOT sellers AT gmail DOT com) or Dan (dan AT necessaryroughness DOT org) and we'll get you on the list. As a reminder, please do not email the Lutheran Carnival email address with anything but links.

Lutheran Carnival XLVIII

Lutheran Carnival XLVIII is now up at Living Sermons. He worked on it during a trans-pacific flight. Please let him know you appreciate the work. The next carnival shall be hosted at Random Intolerance. Posts are due by May 4th. The carnival will be up on May 6.

Reminder for Lutheran Carnival XLVIII

It may be tax season, but you don't get to file an extension for Lutheran Carnival XLVIII, held at Living Sermons. In fact, because Chaplain Boarts will host the Carnival from Japan, I recommend that you get your posts in a day earlier than usual. :)

The deadline is Friday (Japanese Friday?) for Sunday's post.

Living Sermons will host Carnival edition 48. It's always tough to follow the Aardvark, so help Chaplain Boarts out and prepare to send things in from your blog and from others. The April 22 carnival needs its posts by Friday, April 20.

The Lutheran Carnival for Holy Week will be hosted at Aardvark Alley. Posts are due Friday for the Sunday post.

I've already recommended one post, but there are more out there. Plus, there are some new Lutheran blogs that are discuss Christian involvement in the secular realm. I hope to see some good stuff from them, too. :)
