Lutheran Carnival XXXVII

Lutheran Carnival XXXVII is now up at What Did Jesus Do. Thank Ryan for his time. The next Carnival will be hosted by Living Sermons. Posts are due on December 1st and the carnival will be up on December 3rd.

The carnival was a little slim this week. I have no idea why. The carnival is not worth running if we don't get submissions. I hate using the law, but I must let you know that I am on the edge of giving up on this thing. If you like reading the carnival, submit links to it.

Reminder for Carnival XXXVII

Election analysis, the Antichrist, Elton John's own religion of hate, and other topics may be found on the 37th edition of the Lutheran Carnival, hosted by What Did Jesus Do. The deadline for posts is November 17th for the November 19th edition. Thank you, Ryan, for working on this.

Please note that we still don't have a host for the next edition.

I just had a thought: remember those progressive dinners where you went to one house for appetizers, another for the meal, still another for desert? That would be an interesting form of the Carnival. Perhaps you want to furnish a topic but not manage the links. Maybe you're good at organization but not writing. Let us know if you're interested, either by commenting or by sending an email.

Carnival XXXVII will hail from the Buckeye State. Ryan from What Did Jesus Do is taking submissions until Friday November 17th. The post will appear November 19th.

As of right now we don't have any Carnival hosts for December. These carnivals should be rife with posts from the holiday season. Please give us a shout if you're interested.

Reminder for Carnival XXXVI

The Lutheran Carnival web site took October 31 off, so you get the reminder today. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :)

Happy All Saints' Day, by the way.

The Markel Family will host Carnival XXXVI on their family blog. Submissions are due in two days for the post on November 5.

There has been some good work done these last couple of weeks spawned by topics like the Reformation, Missouri's Amendment 2, upcoming Higher Things events, and so forth. The family Markel has six members: load them up.

Since we are into November now, be thinking about whether you'd like to host a carnival in December.
